Lisa Molyneux, a Santa Cruz dispensary owner, recently requested a zoning permission which would allow her to build a different sort of bakery.
The Santa Cruz Sentinel reports that Molyneux’s intention is to produce baked goods with THC and sell them next door at her dispensary. She said it would allow her to better control the conditions and the THC concentration of the baked goods she sells.
The owner’s plans are expected to be approved, as even the local police, which initially argued against the dispensary being allowed — the first of its kind in the county when it opened three years ago — are now in support of her efforts.
